OSEA: Organic Seaweed Skincare
OSEA, a 100% vegan and all-natural skincare line, reached out to me on Instagram to see if I would review their organic seaweed-based beauty products (don’t you love how IG is making the world a more beautiful place, cruelty-free style?). Of course, I was like, hells to the yeah! First of all, before I get all review-y on this ish, can I just profess my die hard ♥ for all things seaweed? I eat roasted seaweed snacks almost daily, I constantly crave avocado sushi rolls, and I always fantasize about treating myself to a deluxe thermal seaweed wrap! I believe seaweed is the answer to everything! Check out seaweed’s beauty benefits from OSEA’s website:
- It’s a naturally rich source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants.
- Seaweed ten times richer in trace elements than land plants.
- It stimulates and improves blood and lymph circulation.
- It revitalizes and firms skin.

The goodies I got to sample:
Sea Vitamin Boost, $32 – This is the first pink toner I’ve ever used in my life (how is this possible?)! And it’s not pink as a result of Red 40, beetle juice, or some other nasty-nasty—the pinkish hue comes from its fancy blend of pomegranate and red wine extracts. I’ll drink to that! 😉 This refreshing spritz contains organic mineral-rich Gigartina algae, which helps balance oil production and stimulate cell regeneration; pomegranate extract, which has been shown to boost collagen and improve tone; and red wine extracts, which are loaded with antioxidant resveratrol that protect skin from cellular damage and contain anti-viral and anti-fungal properties. It truly is refreshing!
Eyes and Lips, $56 – Ooh, mama loves this anti-wrinkle cream! It’s packed with powerful anti-oxidants like Vitamins A, D and E, and DPHP, a vegetable-derived amino acid stimulates the contraction of collagen fibers and strengthens the dermal connective tissue of the skin. What I like most about this cream is its consistency – it’s thick, not liquid-y. I can feel it seep into my fine lines when I apply it at night, and I wake up in the morning with much smoother, softer skin.
Quick Summary: OSEA‘s anti-aging products are chock-full of high quality ingredients that are thoughtfully combined for peeps who wanna look young well into their 100s. 😉 Honestly, I constantly slather my face with tons of oils, butters, serums, and creams that it’s tricky to know which ones work better than others, but my face definitely feels like it’s being treated well when I rock OSEA… I mean red wine and seaweed extracts, c’mon! 😉
